Dr. Valderrama graduated from the prestigious Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education in New York City, New York. She completed her medical school training at Stony Brook University in New York before spending four years in residency training, including a year as chief resident in OB/GYN at NYU Langone Hospital Long Island in Mineola, New York.
Dr. Valderrama has spent the last 40 years in private practice as the senior partner with Long Island Women’s Care in Mineola, New York.
Throughout her career, she's been honored as the OB/GYN Attending of the Year (NYU Winthrop University Hospital), named the Top Obstetrician/Gynecologist Long Island (International Association of Obstetricians & Gynecologists), selected by US News & World Report as one of the Best Doctors in America and awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by NYU Long Island Hospital.
Dr. Valderrama is fluent in both English and Spanish and conversant in Portuguese.
